Waltham, MA

It was not until 1634 that Waltham divided itself from Watertown, and settled as a town in 1738. Waltham is known as the “Watch City” due to the watch manufacturing company that was integrated into the city in the early 19th century.

Waltham has many attractions like Moody street, which is also known as the “restaurant row” due to its high abundance of shops, bars, and active nightlife. It also has the Boston Celtics training center, Charles River Museum of History, Bentley College, and Brandies University. Waltham provides the feeling of the suburb as well as the city since it is only 9 miles outside of Boston.
