Appointment, Cancellation & No Show Policy

At TNT Dental Care, our number one concern is our patients’ dental health and in order to accomplish this goal, providing services in a timely manner is vital.

The appointment you scheduled with us is reserved for you and your treatment alone. As a courtesy to you, we will make every effort to confirm your reserved appointments, but do not consider it our responsibility to do so. Once you’ve scheduled an appointment with us, the responsibility to keep your appointment or cancel within the given timeframe is still yours. Currently, TNT Dental Care attempts to remind patients of their appointment via personal phone calls, text message, and/or email.

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals cause schedule delays for those patients who arrive on time for their appointments. Late arrivals will be seen at our discretion only if time permits, otherwise they will be rescheduled for another day. A late arrival may be treated as a cancellation, and a cancellation fee of $45.00 may be charged.

We respect your time and make every effort to stay on schedule. However, some visits are more complicated than initially thought, and dental emergencies and other unforeseen patient treatment problems may occur which may in turn delay our schedule. In these situations, we ask for your patience.  If you have a dental emergency that needs immediate attention, we will always try to see you the same day. We expect patients who might be inconvenienced by this to be understanding as one day they may need the same courtesy.

We understand that illness, emergencies, bad weather and other personal issues do occur. For cancellations, we ask our patients to give us least two business days notice whenever possible. This gives us the time to fill our schedule with other patients who may be waiting for an appointment. Appointments cancelled less than two working days notice and missed appointments will incur a $45.00 fee at our discretion. All cancellation fees must be paid prior to scheduling another appointment.

As a patient, you are allowed two failed appointments. An appointment is considered failed when the patient does not show up for his/her scheduled appointment without cancelling in advance. No shows inconvenience the practice and other patients who need dental care. After two failed appointments, we reserve the right to refuse to schedule any subsequent appointments.

If you have any questions or comments regarding our appointment policies, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
